Featured listings policy
Some directory pages show a row of featured businesses. This policy explains what that means, and what it never means.

What the Featured row is
The Featured row appears on directory pages, such as a country’s home page, category pages, search results and business pages. Every business in it is labelled Featured.
Who can be featured
- Only businesses that manage their own page on Nearwick.
- Only businesses that have agreed to a public page.
People at Nearwick choose which businesses are featured, and for how long. A business can be taken out of the row at any time.
Faciotech, which owns Nearwick, can also appear in the Featured row. It is labelled in the same way.
What featuring never does
- It never changes the order of any listing.
- It adds nothing to the business’s own page.
- It is not a rating or a recommendation, and it does not mean anything about the business has been checked.
- Buying Faciotech products never puts a business in the Featured row.
