A business page can save you a wasted journey. It can also contain details that were right when collected but have changed since. Before you set off, take a minute to look at the date beside each detail.
Check the place
Look at the town and any location shown on the page. Some businesses serve a wider area than the place in their listing. If an exact address matters, check the business’s own website or contact it directly.
Check the hours
Opening hours are especially likely to change for holidays, weekends or temporary closures. A page may show hours from a business’s website or hours added by the business after it claims its listing. Either way, the date helps you decide whether to confirm them before travelling.
Check how to reach them
If the page links to a website, open it for the latest information. A phone number appears only when the business has chosen to show one on its managed page. Nearwick keeps phone and email details from imported datasets hidden until the business chooses what to publish.
Tell us when something is wrong
If a page points to the wrong place or describes a business that has closed, send a correction. You do not need an account. A useful directory gets better when people can challenge its details.
