About us
CTYP acknowledges that we create and perform on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We are honoured and very fortunate to work and play on this beautiful land. The Carousel team stands in solidarity with the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island and recognizes these nations and their people – both recorded and unrecorded – are the original, current, and future caretakers of the lands on which we live and work. CTYP is committed to engaging in conversations regarding Indigenous Justice, Truth & Reconciliation, and Accountability at all levels, and is dedicated continually working towards bringing these conversations to young people through our programming.
