What the dates on a business page mean

Businesses move, change their hours and close. So a business page never shows a detail without saying how old it is.

Last updated

A page that says Unclaimed shows “Last updated” and a date. That is when its details were last known to be updated. If they never were, it is the date the business was first listed. Anything may have changed since then.

From their website

Some pages include what a business says about itself on its own website, such as a description or opening hours. These are marked “From their website”, with the date Nearwick last read it.

Checks

A check says what was tested and when, such as “Website reachable, last checked” and a date. It records that one test was done on that day. It is not a rating, and it does not say the business is good at what it does.

Pages a business manages

When a business manages its own page, its description, opening hours, website and phone number come from the business itself. Nothing on any page is a score.
