Using Nearwick in AI assistants

Nearwick has an MCP server: a way for AI assistants and agents to search the directory themselves. Its address is https://nearwick.com/mcp.

In an assistant that supports MCP connectors, add a custom connector with that address. There is nothing to sign in to: it is free and read-only.

What an assistant can do with it

• List the countries on Nearwick and the kinds of business each lists.
• Search a country’s businesses by words, category, town or region.
• Suggest businesses for a request in plain words, such as “a pharmacy in Osu open on Sunday”, each with the reasons it was suggested.
• Read a business’s page: what and where it is, its website and hours where listed, and the dates of its details.

What it will not do

• Rate or rank businesses. Nearwick never does.
• Show a phone number or email address a business has not published on its page.
• Change anything. It only reads what the public pages show.

Assistants are asked to link to the Nearwick page of any business they mention, so you can check the details and their dates yourself.
