About us
Our story began in a small garage in Ottawa, driven by a passion for traditional methods of roasting and brewing coffee. We roasted in small batches, focused on quality over quantity, and shared fresh, expressive coffee with the local community. Orders were filled on demand and delivered with care, creating lasting connections with those who appreciated craft and character. From the beginning, one thing was clear: great coffee brings people together. That belief continues to guide us today. We opened our first flagship café at 35 Laurel, moved into a larger roasting facility, and upgraded our roasting equipment. This year also marked the beginning of our in-house kitchen, where fresh baked goods and artisanal sandwiches became part of the Happy Goat experience.
