What Nearwick collects, why, and how to ask to see, correct or delete it.

If you are browsing
- Our servers log your IP address to keep Nearwick secure and to limit repeated attempts from one address. Logs are kept for a short period.
- Your IP address is used to open the directory for your country. It is looked up and not stored.
- Analytics run only if you agree. Cookies and analytics choices.
If you manage a business
- We keep your email address, the country of the site you signed up on and your sign-in sessions.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.
- You choose what appears on your public page, and you can change or remove it.
If you contact us or report a concern
- Contact-form messages are sent to us by email. They are not stored on the site.
- A safety report keeps what you tell us and any contact details you choose to give. It stays private.
What we never publish
We never publish the names of contact people. Phone numbers and email addresses from datasets stay hidden until the business claims its page and chooses what to show.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Use the contact form and choose “Privacy or my data”.
