About us
Turas Nua proudly delivers the National Employment Service for 13 counties in the south of Ireland, and the Local Area Employment Service for Laois and Offaly, on behalf of the Department of Social Protection. These employment activation schemes empower jobseekers to work towards securing and sustaining full-time paid employment or explore self-employment. We're more than a service; we're a catalyst for transformation. With a focus on improving our communities, we provide tailored support, training, and guidance to nurture individuals for success. We are a proud member of the FRS C o-Op, emerging with a deep connection to its roots as an agricultural cooperative. What began as a locally-driven need to pool resources to help others, has carried through to what Turas Nua is today.
