About us
Mark headed up the kitchen brigade at the Atlantic Hotel from his arrival in the island in 2004 until 2017 during which time Ocean Restaurant held a much coveted Michelin star for eleven years. Mark’s career started at the early age of 15 when he worked for Keith Floyd in Devon and over the years he has gained from the experience of working with many influential chefs such as jean Christophe Novelli and Albert Roux. After joining the team at The Atlantic Hotel in 2004, Mark enjoyed great success at Ocean Restaurant which became one of the most highly ranked hotel restaurants in the UK with four AA Rosettes and a Michelin Star. In 2011 Mark Jordan at the Beach opened and soon became is the proud holder of two AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Mark has also appeared in several TV shows including Saturday Kitchen.
