AppCyclers is a Tamale-based social enterprise, founded in 2019. We leverage web technology, data analysis, and community engagement to ensure the safe collection, disposal, and management of electronic and plastic waste. We are transforming how e-waste is collected, recycled, and reused across Ghana—and scaling our impact across Africa. In 2019, our founder visited Agbogbloshie, once one of the world's largest e-waste dump sites. He saw young men and women—many from Northern Ghana—working in dangerous conditions to earn a living.
