Constructed a flour mill in Freetown, Sierra Leone in West Africa marking Seaboard’s first investment on the African continent. Seaboard Corporation acquired remaining shares of ContiLatin del Peru S.A. (CLDP). CLDP changed its company name to Seaboard Overseas Peru.
