Klingbo is Ghana’s AI-powered learning platform. We exist because 1.4 million students sit WASSCE every year without affordable tutoring — and the Core Maths pass rate has been below 50% for seven consecutive years. Ghanaian students are not failing Core Maths because they lack intelligence. They are failing because they lack access. A private tutor costs GHS 200 an hour — a week’s wages for many families. So most students study alone, with no feedback, no personalised guidance, and no way to know which gaps will cost them on exam day. Generic AI like ChatGPT was not trained on the GES curriculum — it gives confident, wrong answers about WAEC topics. We built Klingbo because the answer already exists: personalised tutoring. We just had to make it cost GHS 40 a month and work with no internet.
