The inspiration for Remotown began long before the business model took shape. For Najef, Remotown´s Founder, the goal was always to create a situation where everyone involved—clients, employees, and partners—could truly benefit. Anything less simply wasn’t an option. Back in 2020, while working in the IT sector with one of Europe’s largest banks, Najef felt the deep and growing issue in Germany’s labor market first hand: the severe shortage of skilled IT professionals. He knew this wasn’t just a temporary challenge that could be solved with minor adjustments; it was a generational problem, exacerbated by Germany’s aging population and declining birth rates.
