Despite fast-growing markets within individual African countries, no integrated portal exists that allows investment firms (i.e., licensed broker-dealers, asset managers, or institutional investors) to easily access markets outside their local jurisdictions. SecondSTAX is therefore expanding access to African capital markets by allowing investment firms to conveniently access markets outside their own country via a transparent, easy-to-use, cloud-based portal while improving opportunities for portfolio diversification and investment growth. At SecondSTAX, we are building tools for investment firms to enable and enhance intra- Africa capital and investment flows, reducing the siloed state of African stock and bond markets. SecondSTAX provides investment firms with an easy-to-use and efficient route for wealth in Africa and global capital to fund investments in a wider range of African countries. ​Africa is at the precipice of economic greatness and our task is simple: to reimagine African capital markets for investment firms.
