Driven by passion, vision and ambition and guided by our history, we realized our dream of becoming one of the major pioneers in Ghana’s downstream oil and gas sector and obtained our bulk distribution company licence from Ghana’s National Petroleum Authority for the procurement, sale and distribution of petroleum products to oil marketing companies and refineries. Springfield over a period of 5 years supplied about 12.5% of Ghana’s petroleum product requirements and was a leading exporter of refined products to neighboring land-locked countries like Mali and Burkina Faso. It was the first independent Ghanaian entity to lift the Government of Ghana’s crude oil entitlement from the TEN field in 2016 and 2017.
